I got great value for my money at Maharaju Palace. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfy four-poster bed and mosquito nets. The location was perfect, just a short 2-minute walk to the beach down a tranquil lane with a beautiful garden. I loved sitting on the balcony, surrounded by plants and bird life. The managers were super lovely, helpful in every way, and even had a great sense of humor.
The morning meal could have been better if they provided toiletries.

Clear, green. Friendly staff, friendly staff. towel was changed daily.
It is very stuffy to sleep, even with the windows open - the hotel is in the lowland. Air conditioning for extra charge. One towel. Breakfast was poor.

The room at Maharaju Palace was awesome, dude! It had a balcony with amazing views, and the floor was all cool tiles. Plus, the private bathroom had a shower, which was super convenient. I loved every minute of my stay!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the 24-hour front desk. It kinda made me feel like I was in a fancy hotel, and I'm more of a laid-back kinda guy.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its attention to detail. From the cozy rooms with nice touches like a balcony and a fan, to the sumptuous and healthy breakfast, everything is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and satisfied. The room with the balcony was definitely worth it as it provided a lovely view and a pleasant breeze.
All was fine and no improvements necessary.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a tranquil hotel in a lovely garden setting. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the attention to detail in the rooms. I opted for a room with a fan only, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The room even had a balcony, offering a pleasant view of the surroundings. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with freshly cooked eggs and hot toast.
All was absolutely delightful during my stay!

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration and tropical garden at the hotel. It felt like a hidden paradise, with lush greenery and plenty of shaded areas to relax. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the peacefulness and tranquility of the hotel's surroundings. It was easy to navigate and felt very accessible for someone like me.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, I would say that clearer communication from the children working there would be helpful. Sometimes, they seemed a little confused when answering questions and could benefit from better training in dealing with older guests.

Had an amazing New Year experience at this hotel! the rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was incredibly helpful, always ready with a smile. the breakfast included fresh juice, delicious fruit, and yogurt - loved it! the location was great too, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Bonus points for the beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!
That there was no TV in the room, which would have been nice to watch the New Year celebrations. the lack of air conditioning made the nights a bit warm, but the ceiling fan helped to cool down the room.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The rooms, though without AC, were cozy, clean, and had a few nice touches like a fish and lotus pond. The location, although not right on the beach, was close enough to enjoy the tourist strip while still providing a peaceful atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, with fresh juices and a variety of options, was definitely worth trying.
All was perfect.

The hosts were friendly and gave great suggestions for tourist spots. They even helped with some arrangements. The location is just a 2-minute walk to the beach and the surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. The staff is helpful and made sure our room was clean. The hotel has a lovely garden and a secluded courtyard setting. We appreciated that they didn't use plastic bottles and provided a glass one for refills.
Felt at home, no reason to complain.

The view of the beach from the hotel was amazing. The breakfasts had a range of options from fresh fruits to hot dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas.
The Christmas dinner was not up to our expectations. The beds in our room were very uncomfortable, which made our stay less than ideal.

A charming hotel with a peaceful ambiance and beautiful gardens. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The manager suggested amazing trips for us and we even had a romantic dinner by the fish and lotus pond in our cozy room. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable experience.
